Andre Paolo Juan is a composer/songwriter/guitarist. He received a B.Mus degree in Music theory/composition from Lawrence University Conservatory of Music in Appleton, WI. He studied composition with Joanna Metcalf and Asha Srinivasan. Andre has also studied with Distinguished Professor Tania Leon at the Brooklyn College Conservatory of Music in Brooklyn, N.Y. where he earned a Master of Music degree in Composition. During his time at Brooklyn College, he received the H. Wiley Hitchcock Award for his wind ensemble piece Hello, Neptune and the John Cage Award for his thesis piece, The Product, written for voices and mixed ensemble. His work, Roundabout, was recorded by International Contemporary Ensemble (ICE) at Brooklyn College as part of a residency. Andre's works range from small chamber groups to large orchestras to social media.
